Riking-Defire 

In our third division we introduce Defire, a flame-retardant composite consisting of a needle reinforced nonwoven and woven fabric. This innovative combination of materials offers high flexibility, excellent processability, and reliable fire-protection performance, providing an effective solution for modern aircraft, railway, bus, cruise shipping and office interior applications. Thanks to its integrated woven structure and adaptable nonwoven structure, the material can be processed efficiently and is ideally suited as a backing layer for demanding seat cover and upholstery constructions. Riking-Defire meets the stringent fire safety requirements of the aviation industry in accordance with CS/FAR 25.853 as well as B1 and has been developed for use in safety-critical interior applications.

The flame blocker combines quality, durability, and reliability, making it a valuable contribution to the safety of people in the applied area.
